September was Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Month at Rightsize Facility, a time for our team to step out of the office and into our communities to make a meaningful impact. Across Illinois and Michigan, our teams came together to support incredible organizations through service, teamwork, and shared purpose.
Serving at A Safe Haven
Our first event took place at A Safe Haven in Illinois, where we rolled up our sleeves to serve in the kitchen, assist shoppers in the food pantry, and help beautify the campus. In 2024, A Safe Haven served more than 3,300 participants, including intact families, women with children, opportunity youth, justice-involved individuals, and veterans, providing housing, food, case management, employment, education, and behavioral health treatment. It was wonderful to connect with people from all walks of life, from the dedicated staff to fellow volunteers and the community members we served.
Packing Meals at Feed My Starving
Next, our Illinois team joined Feed My Starving Children in Aurora to pack meals for children in need around the world. This impactful organization is committed to fighting childhood hunger globally, and every meal packed is a step toward hope, health, and a brighter tomorrow. We were honored to play a small but meaningful role in their mission, working side by side to pack nutritious meals that will make a difference in the lives of children and families.
Revitalizing Spaces with Life Remodeled
Our final CSR Month event took place in Michigan, where our team partnered with Life Remodeled to support their efforts in revitalizing Detroit neighborhoods. Working together with other volunteers, we helped transform community spaces, contributing to an environment where residents can thrive. It was a powerful reminder of how collective action can strengthen communities and create lasting positive change.
A Month of Impact
CSR Month was more than just a series of volunteer days, it was a celebration of our shared values and commitment to giving back. Whether serving meals, packing food, or improving neighborhoods, each experience brought our teams closer together while making a tangible difference. We’re proud of what we accomplished and look forward to continuing these efforts in the months ahead.
