Rightsize completely renovated the lobby at The Atrium office building.
New Office for a New Storefront
Recently relocated to the north brand of the Chicago River, a locally sourced foods distributor looked to Rightsize Facility to assist in their new office space opening. Since outgrowing their previous location, the company needed a solution to create an office space in connection to opening a new storefront.
The design team at Rightsize was equipped for the job and provided their expertise in innovative design and space planning. Utilizing the premier Blended Solution at Rightsize Facility, the space was complemented with a mix of new and refurbished office furniture. A selection of Herman Miller Ethospace workstations, iDesk seating, and Mayline conference tables equipped the office with productive and functional work areas. The Rightsize team administered the project alongside the food distributor to deliver a creative solution in a reasonable and manageable timeframe.
Bringing Their Vision To Life
When a leading financial company who serves the trucking industry outgrew its office space and the financial firm’s executives decided to move to a new location, they reached out to Rightsize for guidance in bringing their vision for a sleek and functional workspace to life. Within a span of three months, Rightsize was able to create a modern, streamlined and open workplace environment with technological features designed to promote collaboration between colleagues. The highly functional office design included both pre-owned and new workstations, desks, seating and tables. Black and white finishes with glass and silver accents rounded out the client’s vision for a sleek and sophisticated workplace with ample room for future growth. Rightsize was able to meet the financial company’s budget and timeline goals, earning accolades from executives and staff alike.
A Full Turn-Key Design Project
The Chicago incubator project used the Performance VIP+ Program. The startup consulting firm is a shared office with 31 professionals that relocated, expanded and opened a new office on a 3-6 month timeline. Services required for the project include space planning & design, furniture selection & procurement, project management, deliver & installation, the interior finish selection, kitchen design, lighting selection and carpet selection.
Product manufacturers used included Global, Global Evolve, COF Products, Safco, iDesk, Ikea, Lightology, Bright Electroc and Vortex/Miliken. The furniture consisted of new workstations, desks, seating, tables, filing, lounge and miscellaneous. Rightsize was initially hired to help with their new kitchen layout and design, which then grew into a full turn-key design project.
A few standout elements of the design include multi-colored seating, exposed ceilings and the modern kitchen design. The space offers both an open office floor plan as well as private offices. The kitchen and break area features round and rectangular white tables with blue and black chairs, as well as a TV mounted on the wall. The workspaces have the ability to be used as a solo workstation or as a team. The waiting room features a three-seat sofa and two white bucket-style chairs.
