THE STORY
Objective
The client was transitioning from a shared, noisy environment to their first dedicated office space. The goal was to create a quieter, more focused environment to accommodate their employees’ hybrid work schedules, while also making the space enticing enough to encourage in-office presence.
Design Solution
Oakpoint collaborated with Ivy and Verus Development Group to develop a tailored office solution in downtown Royal Oak. The design incorporated AIS height-adjustable desks for ergonomic support, light colors for an inviting atmosphere, and a central Café with booth seating, powered outlets, and high-low tabletops. The formal conference room was equipped with an Enwork Alkalign Table and Global Bar Cart for a sophisticated touch. A multi-purpose huddle room featured a custom bar-height tapered table with task stools for versatility. The Lounge/TV Room was outfitted with a Citi Global Sectional for comfort, and the entry foyer featured Sit On It Gobi Chairs. The project also included carpeting and Claridge Glass boards to create a cohesive space.
Desired Outcome
The design aimed to deliver a quieter, ergonomic, and aesthetically pleasing office space that reflected the client’s vision of a dynamic and comfortable work environment. The project successfully met the client’s business needs for employee well-being and productivity, while aligning with the company’s goal to make the office enticing for hybrid workers. The project was completed within the expected timeline, delivering a functional and cohesive workspace.
