Giving Customers Comfortable Space

When a Wisconsin auto dealership created a new automotive sales and showroom space in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, they turned to Rightsize to assist in furniture selection and procurement. Understanding that customers need space to wait comfortably and meet privately with sales representatives, the Rightsize design team came up with a solution that would fit the space and the expectations of the industry.

The experienced team at Rightsize Facility worked closely with the dealership and VJS Construction services to provide new furniture from their Blended Solution that would complement the sales and showroom, and meet the requirements to create a functional, attractive, and branded space. Using pieces from Global Total Office, the Rightsize design team selected appropriate pieces for functional desks, ergonomically sound seating, and comfortable, on-brand lounge furniture.

A Full Turn-Key Design Project

The Chicago incubator project used the Performance VIP+ Program. The startup consulting firm is a shared office with 31 professionals that relocated, expanded and opened a new office on a 3-6 month timeline. Services required for the project include space planning & design, furniture selection & procurement, project management, deliver & installation, the interior finish selection, kitchen design, lighting selection and carpet selection.

Product manufacturers used included Global, Global Evolve, COF Products, Safco, iDesk, Ikea, Lightology, Bright Electroc and Vortex/Miliken. The furniture consisted of new workstations, desks, seating, tables, filing, lounge and miscellaneous. Rightsize was initially hired to help with their new kitchen layout and design, which then grew into a full turn-key design project.

A few standout elements of the design include multi-colored seating, exposed ceilings and the modern kitchen design. The space offers both an open office floor plan as well as private offices. The kitchen and break area features round and rectangular white tables with blue and black chairs, as well as a TV mounted on the wall. The workspaces have the ability to be used as a solo workstation or as a team. The waiting room features a three-seat sofa and two white bucket-style chairs.
